I heard British artist Damien Hirst recently on BBC Radio 4′ s Desert Island Discs (listen here). I truly enjoyed the program and felt it helped me begin to understand the artist’s work. Emboldened by a new and vague sense of contemporary art appreciation, I decided to visit the Modern Art collection at the Pompidou Center in Paris last week.  The Cackler came with me.

We had a good time, but it is fair to say we were largely bewildered. There are a number of photos below. Three of them are of recent acquisitions and part of the museum’s collection. and the others are my own compositions, created when in the gallery. I am available to talk about them on Desert Island Discs.

Charles Saatchi, you know where to find me.

Anne, upright and appreciating art Reflections Can you see what it is yet? From the Escalator Sorry, didn't take a note of the artist or the name of the installation I have many shelves like this at home Looks like the corner of Gretel's room, circa 2003.
